SCOTT Brown will take his Ayr United side to East Kilbride on Tuesday night, aiming for a semi-final spot in the SPFL Trust Trophy.
The Honest Men came through home ties against Raith Rovers and Peterhead to make it to the quarter-finals.
They will now face former Darvel boss Mick Kennedy's high-flying East Kilbride, who currently sit top of the Lowland League.
The home side have scored 65 goals in just 16 league games, so this will be a tough test for the Somerset Park team.
Speaking to the club's social media, Ayr striker George Oakley said the team will be fired up for the cup.
He said: "The manager believes we can win every game, and we do as well. We've got to get back on the horse of winning each and every game.
"In football, these things happen, you have losses here and there and we've had enough of that."
A small number of tickets were released to Ayr United season ticket holders, and are now on general sale at tickets.ayrunitedtickets.co.uk/event/east-kilbride-v-ayr-united.
Adult tickets cost £12, with concessions costing £10 and children are £5.
The cup challenge will come as a welcome break to Scott Brown and his side, with Ayr winning just one of their last five league matches.
On Friday night, they shared the spoils with Morton after a 1-1 draw at Cappielow in the Championship.
In November, the Honest Men will face Queen's Park and Dunfermline on league duty, before facing Morton again, this time in a Scottish Cup third round tie.
