It was a mixed bag of results for Ayrshire side's as this season's Scottish Amateur Cup kicked off at the weekend.
The trophy is one that all amateur sides look to win, and be named the best team in the country at the end of the season.
The newly-formed Forehill AFC, based in Ayr, got the weekend off to a great start in Friday night's only match as they beat Woodbank AFC 5-1.
There were victories for Dailly and Dean Thistle on Saturday, beating Harestanes and Milngavie Wanderers respectively.
Catrine edged out a tight game 2-1 against East Kilbride Thistle, whilst Irvine Thistle and Kilmarnock AFC also progressed.
Glenburn Miners Welfare were 4-1 winners away at Knightswood, with a big 5-1 victory for Knockentiber against Harestanes U21.
Crosshouse Waverley got the better of Largs Thistle in an all-Ayrshire tie, whilst there were also wins for Stewarton Annick away to Rhu, Shortlees against Muirend, and West Kilbride at home to Elderslie.
Exiting the competition following defeats are Ardrossan Winton Rovers, Black's, Darvel Victoria, Minishant, Drongan, Kilbride Thistle, Galston, Kilwinning, Troon Town and Bellfield.
There were also two matches in Division 2, with Bothan Victoria beating Onthank 5-2 and New Cumnock edging a thrilling encounter 6-5 at home to Cambusdoon.
