There will be a new face at Somerset Park this season after Ayr United announced their latest loan signing.
Scott Brown has snapped up midfielder Ryan Howley on loan from English Championship side Coventry City until the end of the season.
Howley had a loan spell at Premiership side Dundee last season, where he played 14 games before returning down south.
He has played five times for Coventry, and has also represented Wales at youth level.
An Ayr spokesperson said: "The club are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Ryan Howley on loan from Coventry City until the end of the season, subject to International Clearance.
"Welcome to the Honest Men, Ryan!"
