Ayr United edged out Hamilton Accies in a five-goal thriller at Somerset Park to move clear at the top of the Scottish Championship.
The two sides conducted the league's only game of the weekend after bringing the fixture forward from its original date in October.
The home side got off to the best possible start when Jamie Murphy fired them ahead after just eight minutes.
However, Accies hit back and went in at the break ahead after goals from Oli Shaw and Jamie Barjonas.
Scott Brown's side improved after the break and took all three points after goals from Marco Rus and striker George Oakley.
United now sit with a maximum of nine points from their opening three games, clear by three at the top of the table having played a game more than the majority of sides in the division.
Hamilton remain second from bottom with just one point from their opening three games on their return to the Championship.
