The stars of The Open at Royal Troon are heading home after a dramatic week where Xander Schauffele was crowned the winner and received the Claret Jug.
But if you're looking for a new golf fix, then you don't have long to wait, as the Women's Scottish Open arrives in the region in August.
The famous tournament returns to Dundonald Links for the third consecutive year, with the 2024 competition being played from August 15-18.
Since its co-sanctioning in 2017, the event has been a significant stop on both the LPGA and Ladies' European Tours.
It consistently boasts one of the strongest fields outside of the majors, with last year’s edition featuring seven of the world’s top 10 players.
The event returned to Dundonald Links in 2022 following a £25 million makeover from owners Darwin Escapes to transform the club into one of the UK’s finest golf resorts.
It was also previously held there in 2015, 2016 and 2017.
World number three Celine Boutier will defend her title at this year’s edition after securing a commanding three-shot lead to claim victory at last year’s event.
Tickets for the event are now sold out, but the tournament will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Golf.
