Ayr Para athlete Robyn Love is set to compete at her third Paralympic Games in Paris this summer.
The 33-year-old has been selected for a spot on the GB wheelchair basketball team, who are looking to secure a medal haul in the French capital.
A stalwart of international wheelchair basketball, Love helped the GB team to a fourth-place finish at Rio 2016 and won medals at the World and European Championships.
She then led Team Scotland at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham before captaining Loughborough Lightning to the BWB Women’s Premier League title.
Since then she has turned her attention to tennis and last year won both the singles and doubles titles at the ITF Futures Series in Bulles, Switzerland.
Wheelchair basketball games will take place at the Bercy Arena near Paris on all 11 days of the competition.
Robyn is not the only local athlete to be named in Team GB's Paralympic squad: just a few days ago we reported on Kayleigh Haggo, from Maybole, who will fight for medals in team and individual boccia.
The Paralympics take place from August 28 until September 8.
