THE start of the new West of Scotland Football League campaign may be more than a month away yet, but clubs across Ayrshire already have their pre-season programmes mapped out ahead of the big kick-off.
With the first league fixtures of 2024-25 due to be played on Saturday, July 27, there’s no shortage of friendly action already scheduled for the coming weeks – with the first of them taking place this weekend.
Pre-season fixtures announced so far for Ayrshire’s WoSFL clubs are as follows, along with kick-off times where they've been confirmed.
Saturday, June 22: Whitletts Victoria v Knightswood (Inverclyde National Sports Centre).
Saturday, June 29: Bonnyton Thistle v Kilbirnie Ladeside, Linlithgow Rose v Hurlford United (2pm), Newton Stewart v Whitletts Victoria (2pm), Johnstone Burgh v Irvine Meadow (2.30pm, JW Grant Tournament, also includes Glenvale and Maryhill).
Sunday, June 30: Irvine Meadow v Glenvale or Maryhill (KO TBC, JW Grant Tournament).
