Tickets are now on sale for Ayr United's friendly clash with Scottish champions Celtic in July.

The Glasgow side will send a team to Ayrshire on July 5 to mark the opening of the new North Stand at Somerset Park.

It'll be the first time the two sides have faced off in Ayrshire for 25 years.

The sides last met in a Scottish Cup quarter final at Hampden Park in 2002.

Tickets for the Centre, East and Family Stand and north terracing are now available to purchase, with limited North Stand tickets also available.

Somerset Road End tickets are unavailable in this initial round of sales, with a decision on their allocation to be made next week.

Those who buy a ticket in the second phase of sales will be able to be relocated into any other home area of the ground once a final decision has been made.

A club spokesperson said: "We hope to see as many Ayr United supporters as possible to witness a moment in history!"
