FINN Ecrepont has left Ayr United and signed with SPFL League Two side Stranraer.
It brings to an end a spell of around 13-years at the club for Ecrepont who began his Somerset Park journey when he joined the club's academy aged eight in 2010.
The local lad, now aged 21, enjoyed a fruitful youth career with the club which included call ups to the Scotland squad across numerous age groups.
His youth international career perhaps peaked when he scored against England for the nation's under 16s.
Having progressed up the youth ranks at the club, he signed his first professional contract with the Honest Men in July of 2018 - aged just 16.
He made his debut in a 5-0 victory over Dundee United at Tannadice later that year - becoming the first player born this century to represent the club.
Ecrepont now departs having made a further seven first team appearances and spending two loan spells away from the club at Albion Rovers and Stranraer.
The fullback has now signed a permanent contract with the latter after Ayr confirmed his departure from Somerset Park on Thursday, January 4.
