Ayrshire Bulls fans will be able to see their team live from the comfort of their own home next season.
A television deal has been struck which will see every Sunday fixture in the second season of the FOSROC Super6 competition be televised live on free-to-air television by the competition’s new broadcast partner, FreeSports.
Our very own Ayrshire Bulls will be the first team in front of the cameras when they host Watsonians at Millbrae on Sunday, August 1, with a 1.30pm kick-off.
Following on from the opening weekend, a further two Bulls’ fixtures are confirmed for television, with a trip to Heriot’s Rugby on September 19, followed by another away day to the capital to face Watsonians on October 10.
The Super 6 competition began in November 2019, but was curtailed due to the pandemic.
Speaking about the deal, Ayrshire Bulls General Manager, Glen Tippet said: “Today’s FreeSports announcement is an exciting opportunity for all FOSROC Super6 clubs as it will allow both the clubs and the competition further exposure into new audiences across the UK and Ireland.
“I would like to thank Scottish Rugby and the people who pulled this broadcast deal together, as this is also a fantastic commercial opportunity for Super6 to grow their brand and help further enhance their part-time professional status.”
You can keep across the latest Ayrshire Bulls news on their social media channels and website.
Good luck to the Bulls for the upcoming season.
