A POPULAR Thai restaurant in Ayr has expanded after opening the doors to its newest premises.
At Home Thai, based in Ayr's New Road, announced plans earlier this year to open up in the seaside town of Largs.
Tha-Tien-Thai, which took over the former Waterside Bar in Bath Street, opened on November 29.
A planning application was lodged by the owners of At Home Thai and passed by North Ayrshire Council in October.
At Home Thai has been situated in Ayr's New Road since 2015, and earns constant praise for its dishes, staff and decor.
It was even visited by professional golfer Sepp Straka during the recent Open Championships held in Troon.
The move to Largs has been praised by one councillor in the town, who welcomed the new addition to the high street.
