AN AYR chef says he is "incredibly proud" after being honoured at the Scottish Italian Awards.
Aldente Ayr and its chef Pushpinder Singh was highly recommended in the Best Pasta Chef category at the awards.
The business was in the running for four awards at the ceremony - Best Family Run Business, Best Restaurant in the West, Best Pasta Chef and Best Trattoria.
Pushpinder said: "This award is a testament to our passion for authentic Italian cuisine and our commitment to bringing the best flavours to Ayr.
"We couldn’t have done it without our amazing team and, most importantly, you, our loyal customers, for your continued support."
The business on Prestwick Road has previously picked up a 'highly recommended' gong at the awards in 2022.
The Scottish Italian Awards first started in 2013 and are seen as a prestigious marker of Italian cuisine in the country.
