AYR Music Club is set to host a musical quartet to kick off the festive season.

The Aesop Ensemble, featuring well-known Ayr Choral Union director Andrew McTaggart, will perform at Alloway Church Hall on Saturday, December 7.

The group, known for its unique storytelling approach through music, includes the soprano Catriona Hewitson, pianist Hebba Benyaghla, and Sarah Harrington the cellist.

Their programme will feature a mix of music from stage and screen alongside classic festive pieces.

The concert, part of the Music in Ayr series, will start at 7.30pm. Tickets are £18 at the door, while students and children can attend for free.

Tea and coffee will be served during the interval. Ayr Music Club emphasises that non-members are always welcome.
