PLANS have been lodged to make internal alterations to an Ayr amusement arcade.
Luxury Leisure, which runs Nobles Amusements at 202 High Street, as applied for a certificate of lawfulness with South Ayrshire Council.
The company wants to remove its current 'Kwik Tan' area and replace it with an enlarged gaming area.
The applicant originally lodged a planning application seeking planning permission for the proposed development.
However, council planning officers stated that planning permission was not required and suggested the option of lodging a certificate of lawfulness for the proposals.
The premises currently has five tanning rooms and a waiting area, which would all be removed under the plans.
More information on the proposal can be viewed on South Ayrshire Council's planning portal using reference 24/00826/COL.
