A MATCHSTICK model of Troon's Portland Church has been presented to the Minister and congregation by Kilwinning's Jim Miller.
Jim, known as The Matchstick Man, has been making models for years - and the Troon kirk was his 100th Scottish Church.
He has also made four more in West Wales and one in Ahrensfelde, Berlin.
The latest took Jim almost a year to complete and was his longest ever church model. It is over four feet, 1200 mm, long and he described it as "quite challenging to make".
After the service Jim was presented with a lovely picture frame which consisted of a print of Portland Church alongside a photograph of the completed model.
Congratulations to Jim on his amazing achievement.
