AN AYR road has been hit by an emergency closure due to gas main repairs.
Hunter's Avenue closed on Monday and could be shut for up to 21 days or until the fault is repaired.
In the meantime, there will be no access to Hunter's Avenue from Heathfield Road, but access in the opposite direction will not be affected.
Access to properties and premises will be maintained whenever possible and emergency services and pedestrian access will not be affected.
An alternative route will be signed via Heathfield Road, Prestwick Road and Seaforth Road.
