A MAN allegedly made indecent comments to a young boy and sexually assaulted a girl at Ayr station.
John Jess faces charges of sexual assault and indecent communication to teenagers while at Ayr Railway Station, Smith Street on May 6 last year.
The 51-year-old is said to have intentionally caused the alleged male victim to hear a sexual verbal communication without his consent, repeatedly making sexual remarks to him.
Court papers state this was "for purpose of obtaining sexual gratification or humiliating, distressing, or alarming" the boy.
Prosecutors also claim that Jess sexually assaulted a teen girl by repeatedly touching her on the body, and touching her on the breasts and compressing them.
The accused, of Maybole, pleaded not guilty to the charges during a brief hearing at Ayr Sheriff Court.
Bail was granted and he will return to court to face the allegations at a later date.
