A MAN has died in Ayr town centre after being found with injuries on Wednesday evening.
Emergency services were called to the Garden Street area of the town just before 6pm, and taped off a car park.
A 76-year-old male was pronounced dead at the scene, and police say there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.45pm on Wednesday, November 13, officers were called to Garden Street, Ayr after a man was found injured.
“The 76-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
“There are no suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
