SOUTH Ayrshire Provost Iain Campbell was invited by the organisers of Prestmas to present awards to the winners and runners-up of their school Christmas poster competition.
Prestwick primary schools took part in the annual competition, and this year they received 500 entries.
There were eight runners-up from Glenburn Primary School, six from St Ninians Primary School, nine from Kingcase Primary School and five from Heathfield Primary School.
The overall winner of the competition was Viviana Street, a Primary 6 pupil at Heathfield Primary.
She will ride with Santa on the fire engine to help him switch on the Christmas lights at Prestmas 2024 on Sunday, November 24.
