A SCOTTISH tennis 'legend' has been confirmed as a special guest for the annual Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce dinner.
Judy Murray OBE, renowned for her contributions to tennis and charity, is set to join the event next year.
The mother of double Wimbledon champion Andy Murray will speak to up to 500 guests in March.
Claire Baird, Chamber CEO, said: "We are all incredibly excited that Judy is going to be joining us.
"She has been on the Scottish tennis scene for years and has 64 national titles to her name.
"She does great work through her charity foundation and is an accomplished speaker, so I believe we are all in for a real treat."
The annual dinner, scheduled for Friday, March 28, at Trump Turnberry, is sponsored by Developing the Young Workforce (DYW) Ayrshire.
This organisation, part of a wider network of 20 groups across Scotland, plays a significant role in inspiring the future workforce by offering employers with curricular talks and mock interviews.
The evening will also see the announcement of the 2025 Business Excellence Award.
This accolade recognises Ayrshire organisations committed to excellence and continuous improvement.
Earlier this year, the 2024 award was presented to Break the Silence for creating a supportive space for child sexual abuse survivors.
Previous winners have included Begg x Co, Woodward AES (Prestwick), and Browning the Bakers.
Applications for the award close on November 29 and more information on it can be found here: ayrshire-chamber.org/awards/business-excellence-ayrshire.
