THIS week, we're looking back 10 years to the Ayr Advertiser's stories and pics from November 2014.
And as always, it was a busy time for South Ayrshire, with Remembrance Services across the area, as well as firework displays.

The Junior Section of the 1st Troon Girls’ visited Ayr Fire Station in November 2014 and gained a fascinating hands-on insight into the invaluable work of the Fire Service within the community, particularly during bonfire season.
Girvan residents marked Remembrance Day in 2014 with a parade through the town from the war memorial in Stair Park to the North Parish Church.
Ayrshire College’s Ayr nursery donated money to the Ayrshire Hospice in 2014 – after a four-year-old fundraiser Meryl Sykes took on the ice bucket challenge. As well as the five pounds raised by Meryl, the whole class took part in Go Purple, a fundraising event organised by the hospice.
The Prestwick Scout and Guiding movement paid tribute to the fallen at the town’s Remembrance service in 2014.
Marr College sixth year pupils Callum Russell, 16, and Rachel Brown, 17, were among only 20 across Scotland to be selected for the Royal Scottish National Orchestra Young Ambassador’s Scheme in autumn 2014.
Ayr paid tribute to those who gave their lives in two world wars with a big turnout on Remembrance Sunday, 2014.
