THOUSANDS of people flocked to Troon shorefront on Saturday night for the town's annual fireworks display.
Organised by the Troon Round Table, the event brought people from across the country for a night of entertainment and fun.
This year's fireworks at Barassie kicked off at 7.30pm, with the funfair open from 4pm to 9.30pm.
There was no charge to visit, with a suggested donation of £10 per family. Visitors could text 'TROON' to 70085 to make a suggested family donation of £10.
A Troon Round Table spokesperson said: "Well the weather didn't match up to what we were expecting but think a good night was still had by all.
"Its been a busy weekend for all of us at Troon Round Table but we can't organise this annual community event alone and so we want to thank everyone who supported us last night.
"First of all its important we acknowledge our sponsors: Hillhouse Quarry Group, Glennon Brothers, Destination South Ayrshire, Co-op Muirhead, Glenmavis Traffic Management, George Leslie Ltd and Troon Cabs.

"We had donations of refreshments for our volunteers from Morrisons Troon.
"We had support in our funfair area from DRIFT Coffee+Kitchen, Joannas Chippy Van and The Ice Cream Factory.
"With another thanks to AK Vehicle Rental for their assistance with a van for the weekend.
