PLANS have been lodged to site a mobile snack bar in a lay-by near Ayr.
Daniel McNellie has applied to South Ayrshire Council for permission for the mobile food unit in a lay-by on the A70 between Ayr and Coylton, close to the Holmston Roundabout and Dobbies Garden Centre.
Documents state that the snack bar would operate Monday to Saturday from 7.30am to 3pm at the site.
It would serve hot and cold rolls, baked potatoes, hot soup, tea and coffee, cold drinks and confectionary.
