STORM Ashley is causing disruption to train services to and from Ayr this evening.
ScotRail say services are being impacted by overhead line obstruction at Troon.
A spokesperson said: "We are attempting to source alternative transport but due to severe weather and availability, passengers should be advised to source their own alternative transport."

ScotRail say they have been unable to source alternative transport due to severe weather and availability.
Ticket acceptance in place with Stagecoach West between Ayr, Kilwinning and Glasgow.
Passengers for intermediate stations are being asked to source their own alternative transport.
Services have been impacted across the region throughout Sunday, with services cancelled between Kilwinning, Largs and Ardrossan due to wave overtopping at Saltcoats.
