A CANNABIS farm discovered on Ayr's High Street had £280,000 worth of the class B drug.

Police were seen raiding the property last Friday, October 11, confirming a haul of cannabis recovered.

No arrests in connection with the discovery have yet been made.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “At around 9.10am on Friday, October 11, 2024, officers attended a premises in the High Street area of Ayr.

“A quantity of cannabis, with an estimated street value of £280,000, was recovered from the property.

"Enquiries are ongoing and anyone that has any information or would like to report any suspicious activity is asked to call police via 101 and quote incident number 0751 of October 11, 2024. "
