AS AYRSHIRE residents make their plans for bonfire weekend, there are several large-scale displays are taking place across the region, with all welcoming visitors. 

Below are all the details you need to head along to displays in Troon, Ayr, Newmilns, Kilwinning, Cumnock, Saltcoats, Ardrossan and Girvan...


ARDROSSAN

Bangs will come to the Three Towns on November 1 at Whitlees Community Centre and Stanley Park.

The free family event featuring fireworks and fairground rides will kick off at 4pm, so head on down.

SALTCOATS

This year's event at Saltcoats Harbour is set to take place on Sunday, November 3, with a big crowd expected for the occasion.

Just like last year, a young local will be flicking the switch to start the display when it all gets under way at 7.30pm.

AYR

Ayr Rugby Club is hosting its annual display at Dam Park on November 8, in what is set to be a carnival atmosphere.

From 5pm there will be hot food stalls, an exciting family fairground, kids zone, pumping music and the Guy Fawkes Bar.

After the fireworks, which kick off at 7.30pm, everybody is invited to keep partying and enjoy live music and entertainment until late.

CUMNOCK

Once again organised by Cumnock and District Round Table, this event in Murray Park has become an annual favourite for many in the area.

The display was put on hold after 2019 due to the pandemic, with it returning in 2022 and proving a success over the past two years.

This year's show will take place on Sunday, November 3 at Murray Park. Fireworks will take to the sky from 6.30pm on the night, so be sure to be in place for then.

GIRVAN

This free display organised by Girvan and District Attractions takes place along the seafront on Saturday, November 2. 

There will be a fairground from 3.30pm, food stalls from 5pm, fire performers from 6.35pm and the fireworks will kick off at 7pm.

KILWINNING 

The pyrotechnics will be kicking off with a bang on Tuesday, November 5 in the town's McGavin Park.

Last year, an estimated 4,000 people who turned out for the family-friendly display, and 10,000 turned out for the pyromusical display.

Food outlets and kids rides open at 4.30pm, and fire acts and free balloon art starts at 5pm and 5.30pm.

The fireworks family display will start at 6pm before the big show kicks off at 7.30pm.

NEWMILNS

Once again organised by Gilfoot TARA Action Group, the fireworks will be launched from Jamieson Park between 6pm and 9pm on Tuesday, November 5.

There will be food and drinks, a bonfire and much more, with special guest DJ Rankin.

TROON 

The annual event on the Barassie shorefront brings tens of thousands of visitors to the region each November.

The fireworks are run by Troon Round Table, and also include a lively funfair with rides for all the family.

This year's fireworks will take place on Saturday, November 2 and will kick off at 7.30pm, with the funfair open from 4pm to 9.30pm.
