AN OVERNIGHT closure of the A77 northbound will be in place this weekend between Kilmarnock and Ayr.
The northbound carriageway will be shut to traffic from 7pm on Sunday, October 13 until 2am the following morning.
This is to accommodate the passage of a wide load through ongoing roadworks in the area.
Diversions will be in place, however, drivers are being urged to plan ahead.
Ongoing works by Amey on the northbound carriageway and southbound on-slip are set to finish on October 27.
