Three ‘hoodies’ from Mossblown were decked out in the latest cycling gear to help them shop for sheltered housing residents in October 2009. The teenagers had just completed the unique ‘Hoodies wi’ Goodies’ project and were specially chosen after showing exemplary behaviour.
Two lucky Prestwick residents received a mouthwatering surprise after winning a Meals on Wheels prize in October 2009. April Ramage and Annie Hares both won a quiz organised by Meals on Wheels company Apetito, and their luxury hamper packed full of food goodies was delivered by South Ayrshire Provost Winifred Sloan.

Youngsters from Barassie Primary School in Troon pulled out all the stops in 2009 to take part in the Wear It Pink campaign for cancer research.
