A MUCH-LOVED Prestwick bar and restaurant is shutting down after only being in business for 16 months.
Jel Bar and Restaurant announced on social media that it will be closing - after the business opened in June 2023.
A spokesperson said: “We have tried extremely hard to make this venue as prosperous and profitable as possible.
"Unfortunately, this has not been possible so we will be handing the keys back to the delightful brewery & moving on from this venue. If there were anything else we could have done, then we would have.”
Located on 3-5 The Cross, the business specialised in cocktails, and was known for its live music and DJ sets.
