A SHORT-TERM opportunity has arisen for an operator to take over a popular Troon pub for just £150 per week.
Greene King is offering up Dan McKays, on Portland Street, on an initial short-term deal before progressing onto a one-year deal.
It is described as "an important part of the local community", hosting events including live sports and quiz nights.
The pub is heavily reliant on drinks purchases, and the next operator could "benefit from further development of the food offer".
The normal weekly rent for the business is £577, with a forecasted operator turnover of £412,343.
Sandra Donnelly, business development manager, said: "I am looking for a local operator with experience of the industry, who can demonstrate a sound knowledge of local trading conditions.
"The business here is well established and benefits from its central location and fantastic beer garden."
