EMERGENCY services raced to scaffolding on fire on an Ayr bridge over the weekend.
Fire crews were spotted below Victoria Bridge on Station Road, with one fire appliance mobilised to the scene.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 4.36pm on Saturday, September 28, to reports of scaffolding on fire on Victoria Bridge, Station Road, Ayr.
"Operations control mobilised one appliance to the scene. The crew left after ensuring the area was made safe.”
