A MAN has been arrested and charged following a series of alleged vehicle thefts in Ayr.
Police said the 26-year-old was due to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court today (Friday, September 27).
The reported incidents are said to have taken place in the Craigie area of the town.
Sergeant Andrew Kelly, from Ayr priority policing team, said: "We would like to thank the local community for their assistance and support for our enquiries."
