LANE and on-slip closures are coming to a busy section of the A77 between South Ayrshire and Kilmarnock.
Amey is undertaking essential footway renewals on the southbound A77 between Bogend Toll and Hellington Farm from Monday, September 30 and Friday, November 8.
This will take place under 24-hour lane closures and continuous closures of the Tarbolton on-slip.
A signed diversion will be in place as follows: traffic will be diverted along the B730 to take the Tarbolton Road South roundabout and continue to the A77 northbound. Traffic will be directed to leave the A77 northbound at the Bellfield Interchange and take the sixth exit at the roundabout to join the A77 southbound, where this diversion will end.
A signed pedestrian diversion will also be in place as follows: pedestrians will be diverted along the B730 to Whitelees Road where this diversion will end.
Tarbolton bus stop will be closed with users being diverted to the next bus stop down line at the end of the pedestrian diversion.
Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout the works.
