UPDATE: Police have confirmed that Neve Ridgewell has now been traced safe and well.
POLICE are appealing for assistance to help trace a missing Ayrshire teen last seen nearly three days ago.
The last known sighting of 13-year-old Neve Ridgewell- who is from Kilmarnock - was at around 6.40pm on Friday, September 20.
At that time, she is known to have been in the Statue Square area of Ayr with a group of other young people.
Neve is described as five feet and three inches tall. She is of a slim build with brown eyes and fair, blonde long hair.
When last seen, the teenager was known to be wearing a a black crop top, black leggings, black leather jacket and black converse trainers.
Officers say that enquiries thus far have suggested that Neve may may have travelled to Glasgow or Edinburgh.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "If you have seen Neve, or know her whereabouts please contact police on 101 quoting Incident 3426 of September 20, 2024."
