A PRESTWICK salon is celebrating multiple anniversaries over the span of three decades.

Oasis Skincare Centre is celebrating 30 years of business, 20 years of owner Karen Hazlett working in the salon, and also 10 years of her owning the salon.

The salon’s team marked the milestones with a small party inside the Kyle Street business.

Beauty therapist Lorraine, who has worked at the salon for seven years said: “It’s a very friendly and welcoming salon with the loveliest customers.

"The salon is run to a high standard with good quality products and continuous training.

“I love working alongside Karen, Emma and Lisa. We are a great team and work really well together and always have a laugh.”

Karen began working at the business when she was 24 years old under the previous owner, Ann McAlistair, and decided to buy the business from her when it was put up for sale.

10 years later, she also purchased the building that the business was based in after it had previously been rented.

The salon employs four fully qualified beauty therapists with over 60 years experience between them, and has been open longer than any other salon in Prestwick.
