A POPULAR South Ayrshire hotel has submitted plans to build new lodges - with some already constructed.
Bosses at Enterkine House Hotel said they were "unaware" that a planning application was required for the development on the hotel's ground.
The proposal submitted to South Ayrshire Council is for five lodges, with three already built, and the removal of another.
The lodges already built include a bridal suite. The lodges are accessed via a gravel track from a tarmac road on land owned near the hotel.
The full planning application can be viewed on South Ayrshire Council's planning portal with reference 24/00621/APP.
