A UNIQUE water craft was spotted being brought out of Troon Marina earlier this week.
Ayr Advertiser camera club member Stephen Bulloch spotted an American Special Ops combat assault craft being pulled from the water.
The vessel is used by American special forces for maritime insertions into high-risk environments around the globe.
The boat's design, which includes a composite hull and high-performance engines, means it is at a lower-risk of detection.
It is said to include a remote weapon station and sensors, Blue Force Tracker, a jam-resistant GPS receiver and advanced tactical radios.
