A man has been handed a fine following a two-car crash in Ayr today (September 6).
The incident happened just after 11am near to the Holmston Roundabout in the town.
Drivers described heavy congestion between the Holmston Roundabout and the Bankfield Roundabout as a result of the incident.
Police attended the scene and recovery was arranged.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.15am on Friday, September 6, 2024, police received a report of a two-vehicle crash at Holmston Roundabout in Ayr.
"Recovery was arranged and one man was issued with a fixed penalty notice.”
