A flight bound for Prestwick was diverted on Thursday after a passenger fell ill on board.
The Ryanair flight from Tenerife took off from the Spanish Island at 7.44pm, but soon diverted to Lisbon, landing around an hour later.
The flight later took off from Portugal at around 11pm, landing into Prestwick after 1am on Friday morning.
Flight FR654 had been due to arrive in Prestwick at 10.50pm on Thursday night, but was more than two hours late.
A Ryanair spokesperson said: “This flight from Tenerife to Prestwick diverted to Lisbon after a passenger became ill onboard.
"The crew called ahead for medical assistance to meet the aircraft upon landing at Lisbon Airport.
"The passenger was disembarked and transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment."
