The new sessions of both the Ayrshire Philatelic Society and the Largs and District Stamp Club both start next month.
The first meeting of the Ayrshire Philatelic Society is on Tuesday, September 3 at 7.30pm at the Prestwick Community Centre, Caerlaverock Road where new president, Russell Ramsay, will be in charge.
The following Wednesday, September 11, again at 7.30pm, the Largs and District Stamp Club open their new programme at the West Kilbride Community Centre, Corse Street, West Kilbride.
Their first meeting is also the traditional President's Night with Ricky Boyd in the chair.
In between these meetings there is a chance to supplement your collections with a visit to the South West Congress stamp and postcard fair on Saturday, September 7, again at the Prestwick Community Centre from 10am to 4pm.
There will be 10 dealers present, plus a kids' corner to encourage the youngsters.
Refreshments will also be available at a reasonable cost.
Whether you are a member of one of the societies or not you will be very welcome to attend any or all of these events, and they look forward to seeing you.
