The iconic Red Arrows will not be returning to the South Ayrshire coast next month for the International Ayr Show - Festival of Flight.
The eye-catching jets from the Royal Air Force Aerobatics Team wowed crowds on Ayr's seafront last year with fantastic acrobatic displays, trailing red, white and blue smoke.
However, the crowd favourites will not be making an appearance at this year's festival in early September, due to commitments across the pond.
The Red Arrows have embarked on a tour of Canada which will last for the next five weeks.
The team are performing in locations including Nova Scotia and Toronto, as well as Montreal and Niagara Falls.
This is to mark the centenary celebrations of the Royal Canadian Air Force. The visit to Canada is the first for the Red Arrows since 2019.
Their famous display features nine Hawk jets in the team's distinctive red livery.
