A kind-hearted woman is set to run the Scottish Half Marathon this weekend in aid of Prestwick's Broadway cinema.
Louise McAdam undertook incredible initial works at the cinema in her final year of university, provided the basis volunteers needed to prove the steel frame of the building was structurally sound, securing the future of the original auditorium.
Louise has kindly chosen to run the Scottish Half Marathon this weekend to raise money for the Broadway's restoration.
She said: "This holds a special place in my heart as it was my first real civil engineering project at university, and it has become my first love in terms of engineering projects with its community spirit, heritage and embrace of sustainable design."
Louise is more than halfway to her goal of £300, and her fundraiser can be found at www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/louise-mcadam.
