The Rozelle House Museum and Galleries in Ayr will be put on the global map as it becomes the latest addition to the Bloomberg Connects app.
The Bloomberg Connects App is a free, digital guide which allows users to explore content from a variety of cultural organisations.
Regardless of location across the world, users can access a range of content, either by experiencing in person or enjoying from the comfort of home.
A key feature of the Rozelle House guide is the audio tour of the Alexander Goudie Collection, which includes the fascinating series ‘A Tale of Tam o’ Shanter’.
The collection also brings this famous poem to life through captivating paintings. In addition, the digital guide will be regularly updated and includes content from previous exhibitions.
Councillor Alec Clark, South Ayrshire Council's portfolio holder for tourism, culture and rural affairs, said: “We are incredibly lucky to have such rich culture and history in South Ayrshire.
"The inclusion of Rozelle House Museum and Galleries on the Bloomberg Connects App not only promotes our fantastic heritage but also makes it accessible to all.
“I’m delighted that the app enables us to showcase the wealth of the collections in South Ayrshire by offering interactive ways for users to engage with content.
"By providing this platform, both locals and visitors alike can enjoy everything that this museum and gallery has to offer.”
The app can be downloaded from www.bloombergconnects.org.
