The A78 has been closed southbound following a lorry overturning earlier this afternoon.
Police have confirmed that the trunk road is closed southbound from the Monkton roundabout near Prestwick following a report of an overturned lorry around 12.40pm on Friday, August 9.
There are no injuries but road users are advised to avoid the area while recovery takes place.
Police have been contacted for further details.
