South Ayrshire Council is inviting aviation enthusiasts and thrill seekers alike to join their exclusive airshow community.

The public can become a Friend of The International Ayr Show – Festival of Flight for £20 and gain access to perks while supporting the event.

The airshow returns to the town on September 6 and7.

When people join the new community, they will receive an exclusive 'Friends' limited edition car sticker and members will also get 'website recognition', which means supporters' name - or an anonymous alias - can be displayed on the Friends page of the official airshow website.

Plus, members will automatically be entered into the council's Friends prize draw, where the winner will receive two airshow hospitality tickets, worth £75 each.

These tickets (for over 18s only) will give holders access to the hospitality village, where they will able to enjoy a free buffet with soft drinks, access the hospitality bar, posh loos, special tiered seating, a park and ride space at Rozelle Estate and an airshow programme.

The prize draw is open to those who become a Friend by Sunday, August 25.
