A pensioner in his 80s who was arrested for 'being abusive' in Maybole has now been given a police warning.
The 81-year-old was hauled off in a police van near to the Carrick bar after 'abusive' behaviour was reported in Whitehall just after 4pm on Tuesday, July 30.
Police confirmed the pensioner was later issued with an official warning following the arrest.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "At around 4.05pm on Tuesday, July 30, police received a report a man was being abusive in Whitehall, Maybole.
"Officers attended and an 81-year-old man was arrested. He was issued with a Recorded Police Warning."
