The famous RNLI Scroll arrived at Troon lifeboat station last week as it made its way across the UK.
The scroll, which was made by the charity’s craftsmen, started its journey on March 4 at Westminster Abbey as part of the RNLI's 200th anniversary celebrations.
It will eventually visit and be signed at every one of the charities' 240 lifeboat stations in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
On the scroll is the RNLI’s One Crew pledge, in which volunteers promise to continue saving everyone they can for the next 200 years.
Representatives from the station including crew, lifeboat management group and fundraisers had the honour of signing the scroll.
Jim Redmond, Troon Lifeboat Operations Manager, said: "It was a proud day for everyone at Troon RNLI lifeboat station as we added our signatures to this historic document, marking the RNLI’s 200 years of saving lives at sea."
