Ayr's Astoria Cinema is now shining bright above the town's Burns Statue Square after its makeover was completed.
The former Odeon facility reopened to great fanfare earlier this year under the ownership of Merlin Cinemas, and thousands of cinema-lovers have since flocked to the venue to watch their favourite movies.
The building is now complete with its "jewel in the crown" - new illuminated signage standing tall above the square.
A cinema spokesperson said: "No longer an ugly duckling. We're turning back into a swan.
"Thank you so much for your continued wonderful support."
In June the company's managing director, Geoff Greaves, announced that the business, which operates 20 cinemas in mostly coastal towns around the UK, was to be sold to its own staff as an Employee Ownership Trust.
