An A380 Super Jumbo plan parked at Prestwick Airport is getting a livery makeover
The airbus operated by Global Airlines touched down at the airport at around 5pm on Wednesday, May 1.
It's the first time the aircraft type - the largest in the world - landed at the South Ayrshire airport.
The aircraft left Montreal earlier that morning, with aviation fanatics turning up in numbers at the airport to watch it touch down.
The aircraft is currently being given the Global Airlines livery, following its purchase from China Southern.
Airbourne Colours has been working on the initial phase of the livery change, with more alterations yet to be made.
The aircraft is expected to enter service with Global in the coming years following its stay at Prestwick.
