Plans to turn a former Prestwick convenience shop and takeaway into a home have now been lodged.
A planning application for a change of use and alterations to the former Shaw Stores shop on the town's Shaw Road has been made to South Ayrshire Council.
Earlier this year, Jackie Jess lodged proposals to relocate her Shaws takeaway from Shaw Road in Prestwick to New Road in Ayr.
The takeaway, which was given the green light by council planners, took over the premises left vacant by the Braw Coo Butchers.
The former premises is now set to be turned into a home, with planning drawings showing a property with two bedrooms, a living and kitchen area, and a bathroom.
The full planning application can be viewed on South Ayrshire Council's planning portal with reference 24/00566/APP.
